Role: Senior Test Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA ONSITE

Job Description

- Hands on experience in the build and Testing of Refrigeration system
- Refrigeration system balancing and charge balancing
- In depth knowledge in the system design of refrigeration / HVAC system
- Hands on experience in building the refrigeration system which include
o Tube bending and brazing
o Component integration
o Experience in working with Hydrocarbon refrigeration system & refrigerant
o Compressor vacuuming charging
o Energy consumption testing at various system conditions
- Hands on experience in handling environmental chambers
- Basic hands-on skills in electrical system setup and wiring considering safety standards
- Understanding the refrigeration parameters (temperature and pressure requirements at various conditions
- Test setup preparation: Preparing Thermocouple and calibration, setup of flow meters, pressure transducers as applicable
- Instruments handling: Hands on experience in handling DAQ. Connections to the test setup based on the test procedure
- Report creation: Gather test data, analyze test data and draw conclusions
