Ultrasound Technician

HPW Center for Diabetes is looking to hire a full-time Ultrasound tech. The office currently does Fibroscans, Thyroid, Liver, and Kidney ultrasounds. There will be at least 1 day a week in our Bloomington, Indiana location.

Job Duties:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment and techniques
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Analyze images and data to assess the condition of organs, tissues, and blood flow
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Experience

- Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to effectively operate ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
- Experience in diagnostic evaluation and interpretation of ultrasound images

Requirements:
- Valid certification as an Ultrasonographer
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
