Summary : HQ Aero is currently recruiting for STRUCTURES TECHNICIANS in BRIDGEPORT, WV
Responsibilities :
As a Structures Technician, you will be required to :
- Remove / install aircraft components as required.
- Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
- Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures and aircraft component repair.
- Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft.
- Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations as required.
- Inspect confined areas of airframe and assist in providing time estimates as required.
- Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements :
Minimum of years of structural sheet metal repair / modification experience or substantiated similar experience. Corporate jet aircraft or commercial aircraft experience preferred.
CRJ airframe experience a plus. MRO experience a plus. Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot / Isochronal / Phase inspections) a plus.
- Completed Sheet metal A / C Tech school or equivalent Training.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) license is required.
- Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written) aircraft status.
- Demonstrated ability to train other employees is preferred.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
- Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, understand the English language in accordance with Title CFR Part .

- Work Environment : Ability to work in confined spaces. FAR Part aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
