Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for the position of Loader/Unloader. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials and products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy lifting and operating various warehouse equipment, ensuring that all goods are handled safely and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments from furniture trucks
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout to optimize space and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and order pickers.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
