Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently for loading and unloading goods.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery of products.
- Perform order picking tasks, accurately selecting items as per customer orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational issues.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating cranes and forklifts, with valid certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures within a distribution center environment.
- Experience in order picking and packing processes.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
