Job Summary:
The position of Clinical Social Worker requires a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school and a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Social Work independently. The role involves maintaining clinical documentation, conducting orientation for corrections personnel, providing clinical support to non-licensed counseling staff, and identifying internal and external risks. The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and comply with various regulations and policies.
- Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with clinical practice guidelines (CPGs)
- Conduct orientation for corrections personnel on human behavior and risk assessment
- Provide clinical support to non-licensed counseling staff
- Identify internal and external risks and provide appropriate intervention
The position requires the employee to complete ACC Pre-Service Training upon employment and annual training thereafter. The successful candidate must also possess a high degree of maturity and emotional stability, have no civilian felony convictions or court-martial convictions, and be eligible for Law Enforcement (LEO) retirement coverage.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be able to adapt to changing situations.
This is a Career Field (CF) 53 - Medical position with applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. The salary includes payment for irregular work hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying work schedules.
