As we continue to expand our presence in the market, we are seeking an organized and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our facility and implement continuous improvement strategies. This role includes managing production, optimizing resources, enforcing safety and quality standards, and leading teams to achieve operational excellence. The Plant Manager works closely with corporate management, suppliers, and customers to meet business objectives while ensuring continuous improvement in processes and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee plant operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Develop and manage plant budgets and production plans, ensuring cost efficiency and financial sustainability.
- Recruit, train, and develop employees to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Lead and support a team of managers, supervisors, and production staff.
- Establish and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry and corporate standards.
- Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Maintain quality certifications such as TCCQS, TPM, HACCP, and ISO 9000/14000. Food grade certification (SQF, Level 2-3), 6 Sigma/Lean Management, Hazardous material handling/certification
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to optimize operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business, or a related field; MBA a plus
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Netsuite, and other enterprise systems.
- Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and drive operational efficiencies.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and experience implementing required standards
- Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or Green Card holder).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and reaching.
Salary : $115,000
