As we continue to expand our presence in the market, we are seeking an organized and results-driven Production Manager to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient production environment while meeting customer demands. This role involves production planning, budget management, and team leadership. The manager collaborates with various teams to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards and oversees continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee plant production to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet business objectives and customer demands.
- Monitor and optimize resource allocation, equipment efficiency, and material supply.
- Lead site production reliability efforts and ensure smooth execution of maintenance turnarounds.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, safety, and security (EHS&S) policies and industry regulations.
- Lead and support a team of supervisors and production staff to achieve performance goals.
- Establish and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry and corporate standards.
- Maintain certifications such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, AS9100, and other applicable standards. SQF and hazardous material handling experience a plus.
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; Chemical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the chemical or electronics industry.
- Experience in Six Sigma, ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality improvement tools.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, ERP/MRP systems, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and drive operational efficiencies
- Knowledge of labor laws and safety requirements in a production environment
- Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or Green Card holder).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and reaching.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in global sourcing and managing product lifecycles
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Familiarity with ITAR requirements
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, NetSuite and other enterprise systems
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
