- Pay: $19.50/hour

- Schedule: Full-time Thursday-Monday 2 pm-10 pm.

Ariel grew up in the IDD (intellectual and development disability) community as her parents started an adult foster care when she was just two years old. Other qualifications include:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and auto insurance.
- Be certified in and have the ability to perform First Aid and CPR.
- Be certified in a state-approved behavior intervention curriculum.
- Ability to life and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to support the weight of an individual served (with or without the assistance of a mechanical device or aid).
- Ability to use physical restraints and/or safeguards, deflect, and evade in accordance with Oregon Intervention Systems (OIS) training and person-specific Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment local and Federal background check.
A typical day will consist of:
- Implementing Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs) and ensuring individuals are meeting their goals.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of activities, medications, interventions, and other interactions.
- Supporting individuals in completing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, using the restroom, eating, preparing meals, grocery shopping, attending appointments and community outings, etc.
- Completing meal preparation and housekeeping duties.
- Administer medications and medical treatments, while monitoring health concerns.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and transportation.
- Assist individuals in utilizing their community and its resources.
- Attending team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
