What You'll Do:
As the Assembly Production Supervisor, you will plan, schedule, and lead production to meet the ever-increasing quality, delivery, order quantity, and time expectations of the customers and business.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Provides leadership and direction for the day-to-day assembly operation to ensure on-time, defect free, and complete orders to our customers.
- Actively coaches, develops, reviews, and counsels' employees so that they are continually growing in their skillsets and able to be accountable for their growing job functions.
- Collaborates with others on troubleshooting equipment issues to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Partners with management to review performance initiatives and KPI's to enhance output, ordering processes, quality standards, delivery and cost reductions year over year.
- Initiates Lean process improvements to help continuously drive enhancements and efficiencies within the organization.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree completed in a related field preferred; High School Diploma and equivalent combination of experience will be considered.
- Experience: 3 years of Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication and/or metal stamping. 1 years of managing or mentoring others in an effective way.
- Certifications: Lean Six sigma Certifications are a plus.
- Functional Skills: Strong planning, organization, and execution skills are required in this role. Strong lean thinking/process improvement skillsets are needed to problem-solve and enhance the operations. Excellent forward-thinking, prioritization, analytical, and detail-oriented skills are also required to manage multiple data points.
- Technology Skills: Advanced aptitude with computers, ERP systems, Microsoft, and other systems.
- Communication Skills:Strong written & verbal communication skills, along with presentation skills, are required.
- Leadership/ Behaviors: Strong leadership skills to be able to delegate and lead assembly teams and communicate with other departments.

Other Important Information:
Pay/Salary: Salaried role based on proven expertise.

Reports To: Plant Manager
Core Hours: 5:00 am - 4:00 pm
Typical Work Week: M-F; occasional weekend work where required; 45 - 50 hours a week on average
Direct Reports: Approx. 25 Assemblers and Team Leads
Travel: None
