What You'll Do :
As the PCB Machine Operator you will set up, operate, and trouble-shoot various machines to create quality printed circuit boards.
You will also count, test, and do light soldering and repair on printed circuit boards to ensure complete, accurate, and on-time products are delivered to our customers.
Your Accountabilities In The Role :
- Sets up, operates, and performs light troubleshooting of circuit board machines, along with other related machines, following specific processes.
- Verifies accurate component parts are used that aligns to customer specifications.
- Inspects the component alignment to the boards throughout the process to ensure accurate placement.
- Handles some assembly, sorting, and soldering of the various products in an efficient and accurate way, to support the team.
- Confirms and applies appropriate labels on the products in a specific location to identify completed product, where applicable.
- Ensures all parts are final tested for quality and counted for a complete, on-time, error-free product delivered to customers each and every time.
- Handles the inventory of parts, ensuring parts pulled and returned are done in an accurate way.
Position Requirements :
- Education : High School Diploma or GED equivalency preferred. Will consider a combination of education and skill.
- Experience : 3 years' experience with operating circuit board or similar small piece product assembly with machines; enjoys small piece work with hands.
- Functional Skills : Solid in basic math & counting Skills, detail-oriented, precise, and accurate in their work. Able to read, comprehend, retain work instructions and able to work with small piece assembly at a good speed.
Is able to prioritize and be flexible to move from job to job as priorities change. Able to analyze small parts to ensure accurate production.
Can troubleshoot minor machine obstacles. Skilled at or able to learn small piece soldering.
- Technology Aptitude / Skills : Proficient PC skills and able to use tablets / PCs to review procedures and enter data.
- Language Skills : Able to read / write / speak English fluently; communicates in a positive way.
- Leadership / Behaviors : Self-directed, highly-motivated, with the ability work independently; Good team player with the ability to work well with others and take advice / mentoring well.
Able to initiate, process, and finalize projects to meet the needs of the customer every step of the way.

Other Important Information :
Position Status & Salary : Hourly Position with OT Pay and year-end bonus; Pay is negotiable based on years of experience.
And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!
Reports To : Production Supervisor - PCB
Core Hours : 5 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm (Mon - Thursday); OT on Friday and / or Saturdays as needed
Travel : None
Work Conditions : Must have ability to operate assembly equipment, hand tools, screw guns, etc. and have the ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, squat, twist, and lift up to 30 - 40 lb.
