Your Role:
As the Operations Manager, you will lead key business functions, including order fulfillment, customer service, supply chain, and team development. You'll work closely with the owner to drive growth and ensure operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory, procurement, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery
- Oversee and manage customer service across multiple platforms, maintaining high engagement
- Coordinate manufacturing schedules and forecast inventory needs
- Handle administrative tasks like reporting, Shopify management, and invoicing
- Lead product assembly and updates to meet customer needs
- Build, mentor, and expand the operations team
- Monitor KPIs to maintain margins, stock levels, and customer satisfaction
- Participate in strategic planning and team-building initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's in Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: 3 years in operations management; e-commerce or small parcel fulfillment
- Skills:
- Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, e-commerce platforms, and Google Workspace
- Effective communicator with leadership and team-building skills
- Certifications: Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Culture Fit: Positive, collaborative, and customer-focused with a "can-do" attitude
Other Details:
Compensation: Competitive base salary bonuses
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (flexible based on season and workload)
Reports To: CEO
Environment: Office/warehouse setting
Direct Reports: 1 Asst. Manager (will be others with time, after recruiting and hiring your team)
