What You'll Do:
As an Operations Manager, you will lead, and manage order fulfillment, customer service, administration, supply chain, and product implementation while also building and leading a team. You will work closely with the owner, playing a direct role in driving the success of the business.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Conducts monthly on and off-site inventory audits, handles procurement of nest box and AutoRoost parts/supplies, and maintains adequate inventory of packing/shipping supplies to ensure timely shipment of products.
- Oversees and leads customer service personnel through daily customer interactions via various channels, including calls, texts, emails, product reviews, and social media platforms to ensure engagement and follow-up expectations are being met.
- Coordinates manufacturing schedules/logistics and forecasts nest box supply needs to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Manages and oversees fulfillment personnel and coordination of LTL freight scheduling to ensure timely shipment of all products within a 24-hour window.
- Manages and oversees costing reports, Shopify administration, margin control, quoting and invoicing while also maintaining and implementing technology tools and systems to ensure efficient administrative processes.
- Organizes and facilitates AutoRoost assembly and implements product updates/designs as needed to meet the needs of customers.
- Oversees the hiring and firing of customer service personnel and other operational staff to meet the demands of the business.
- Coaches and mentors' staff, conducts team building and the development of routine reviews, and leads and participates in weekly L-10 meetings to ensure continued growth and success of the team.
- Manages and leads the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to ensure margins, inventory and customer service expectations are met and/or exceeded.
- Supports the other teams, as needed, for the overall success of the business.
Position Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or similar field preferred; will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 3 years of operations management experience with 1-2 years' E-Commerce experience. Experience within farm, agriculture, manufacturing or related industries preferred.
- Certifications: Ability to be forklift certified.
- Functional Skills: Strong planning, prioritizing, and execution skills required. Strong attention to detail, administrative, organizational and multitasking capabilities. Forward-thinking with strong business and market acumen to recommend solutions; ability to manage various projects at one time. Strong ability to conceptualize and problem-solve. Capability to establish and refine structured workflows and systems. Strong inventory management, scheduling, forecasting and procurement skills.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Strong proficiency with technology, particularly spreadsheet applications and E-commerce platforms; proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Language Skills: Solid verbal and written skillset; able to present and influence others.

Other Important Information:
Position Pay: Base salary with bonus is negotiable based on experience.
Reports To: CEO
Core Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Hours/workdays may vary slightly depending on the season and order volume)
Typical Work Week: Monday to Friday; 35-40 hours/week
Direct Reports: 1 Asst. Manager (will be others with time, after recruiting and hiring your team)
Work Conditions: Office/warehouse environment; operating forklift as needed.
Travel: Limited travel required; will be provided company vehicle for travel
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
