Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties for an apartment complex for 120 units ( Market value). The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of property management practices, and the ability to foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors. This role is crucial in ensuring that properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and that tenant needs are met promptly.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, leasing, and maintenance coordination.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements.
- Oversee data entry tasks related to tenant information, lease agreements, and maintenance requests using property management software such as Yardi.
- Foster strong customer relationship management practices to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with data entry processes and property management software (Yardi experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of property maintenance practices and procedures.
- Experience in legal administrative tasks related to leasing agreements and tenant communications is beneficial.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong phone etiquette along with effective communication skills for interacting with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Proficient in office software applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
