Summary
We are currently seeking a Land Development Staff Civil Engineer in our McHenry, IL office. This is a great opportunity for an EIT- Civil Engineer who is interested in working with a dynamic team on a wide range of projects creating land development plans for our commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential clients. You will be working side-by-side with a team of knowledgeable engineers and professionals in an environment that fosters collaboration and career development. What will you be doing?
- Working as part of a team as well as independently in learning, evaluating, and applying engineering principles, standards, and criteria for land development projects
- Participating in designing site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utility infrastructure
- Compiling submittals to State, Municipal, and other agencies and contributing to the development of more complex submittals
- Facilitating effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders and team members
What are we looking for?
- A candidate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university in a relevant discipline
- A candidate with 0-4 years of relevant engineering experience
- A candidate with proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
- A candidate with knowledge and familiarity in Civil3D is preferred

Compensation Range
$55,000.00 - $85,000.00
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Illinois Salary Transparency amendment to the Equal Pay Act of 2003. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate, after a qualifying period, in our performance and discretionary incentive bonus program(s).
