Description
Summary of position:
This position is responsible for analyzing and tracking HR HealthCare’s production and operational costs, including labor, materials, and overhead, to identify areas for cost reduction, prepare financial reports for management decision-making, and ensure accurate cost reporting by utilizing and maintaining HR HealthCare’s cost accounting system.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs
- Setting annual standard costs for manufactured goods and sourced finished goods
- Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
- Performing account reconciliations on all variance accounts
- Preparing responses for inventory and std cost questions that arise during the company’s annual audit
- Coordinating and executing the company’s cycle counting policy
- Recommend changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
- Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data
- Variance account auditing and control
- Margin reporting to management by product, channel, etc.
- Assisting other operations in Finance as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 4-Year degree from an accredited college
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
- Understanding of GMPs
- Understanding of leadership principles
- Detail oriented
