JOB DESCRIPTION
The Edibles Production Team Member specializing in cannabis gummies production is a crucial role in our manufacturing process. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to production standards, and a commitment to ensuring efficient and compliant manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food production, particularly in gummies or confectionery, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Gummies Production:
- Assist in the production of cannabis-infused gummies following standardized recipes and production procedures.
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately, ensuring consistency and quality in the finished product.
- Operate gummy-making equipment, such as mixers, cookers, and molds, according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
- Quality Control Checks:
- Conduct visual inspections of gummies during production to ensure they meet specified quality standards in terms of appearance, texture, and taste.
- Monitor cooking temperatures and production parameters to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Report any deviations from quality standards to the production supervisor.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation:
- Follow proper sanitation protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic production environment.
- Clean production equipment and work areas regularly to prevent cross-contamination and maintain product integrity.
- Dispose of waste and cleaning materials properly according to company policies.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and supplies specific to gummies production.
- Notify supervisors of low inventory levels and assist in ordering and replenishing materials as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of ingredient storage areas.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any issues or concerns related to production operations.
- Assist in training new team members on gummies production procedures and safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in food production, particularly in gummies or confectionery, is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a background check.
