JOB DESCRIPTION
The Forecasting Manager, employed by HR MGMT 10 LLC as the Employer of Record, will be responsible for managing supply and demand planning for a client list of large, complex accounts while overseeing global inventory levels. This role involves forecasting sales and production requirements for materials, ensuring alignment between supply and demand, and optimizing material movement across the supply chain.
The Forecasting Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and account management, to support inventory needs, mitigate shortages, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain planning, inventory management, and procurement, with expertise in forecasting tools and data analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting:
- Oversee short- and long-term forecasting of Bill of Materials (BOM) components across all Final Bell U.S. markets.
- Ensure inventory planning aligns with demand to support operational needs.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new and existing products.
- Lead purchase forecasts and propose orders through collaboration meetings with stakeholders and vendors.
- Develop demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, sales trends, and market conditions.
Inventory & Procurement Management:
- Monitor material movement across planning, purchasing, storage, and production to optimize efficiency.
- Establish and maintain preferred stock levels while mitigating excess inventory and shortages.
- Manage procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely material availability.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of purchase orders and deliveries across the supply chain.
- Oversee supplier relationships to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and contract compliance.
Process Improvement & Data Analysis:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce waste.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including forecast accuracy, timeliness, and vendor performance.
- Project future inventory positions and assess financial impacts of supply chain decisions.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in supply and demand planning.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and supply chain partners.
- Collaborate with transportation providers, warehouse supervisors, and cross-functional teams within Final Bell’s portfolio.
- Work closely with Account Management, Operations, and Accounting teams to support business objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to teams involved in inventory forecasting and procurement.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, forecasting, procurement, or inventory planning.
- Advanced experience in Airtable is required.
- Expert proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Positive, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Prior experience in packaging, vape hardware, or the cannabis industry is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking.
- Some travel required (client visits, team meetings, etc.).
