Position Overview
The AP Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The successful candidate will play a vital role in vendor management, invoice processing, and optimizing the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process vendor invoices, verifying accuracy and compliance with purchase orders and contracts.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts
- Resolve invoice discrepancies to facilitate timely payment processing.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in AP, invoice processing and/or procurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in procurement software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
