Our client is a law firm focused on bankruptcy law, dedicated to helping individuals navigate financial challenges. They are seeking a Bilingual Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Paralegal to assist with legal document preparation, case management, and court interactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage all Chapter 13 cases from filing to discharge.
- Review and analyze case documents before filing.
- Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions and plans for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
- Meet with clients to review case details and schedules, providing guidance on their legal proceedings.
- Draft and file Chapter 13 plans, motions, objections, and amended or modified plans.
- Assist in preparing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions.
- Draft and submit Motions to Modify and Motions to Avoid Liens.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of legal documents.
- Maintain communication with courts and relevant legal entities regarding case progress.
