Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Tester to join our dynamic team. As an IT Tester, you will primarily serve as a Quality Assurance Software Tester, responsible for ensuring the reliability, usability, and functionality of our software applications. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of our end users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of software applications to ensure they meet specifications and user stories, including usability, functionality, exploratory, system, smoke, monkey, and compatibility testing.
• Test Case Development: Review requirements and user stories to develop and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts that effectively validate software functionality.
• Test Documentation: Document and report test outcomes, including logging bugs or defects in a clear and organized manner. Provide detailed reports on testing progress and results.
• Test Planning: Develop test plans, monitor and report on testing progress, and identify and manage dependencies to ensure timely delivery of quality software.
• Coordination: Coordinate test activities, including technical and security testing, with other team members and OTS verticals to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Knowledge Transfer: Provide technical and non-technical knowledge transfer of testing processes to team members and stakeholders. Assist in the development of project work plans, timelines, status reports, release notes, and other documentation as needed.
• Collaboration: Participate actively in team meetings, design sessions, and Scrum ceremonies to contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development process.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality assurance testing of application software using varied testing methodologies.
• Proven experience in developing, identifying, and validating appropriate test scripts and test data that ensures software functionality meets end-user expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant software QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
• Experience in documenting user stories or gathering requirements from stakeholders.
• Experience in creating user guides or onboarding materials.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Previous experience working on a dynamic Scrum team.
