The VPHR will spearhead our client's talented team tasked with designing and executing people-focused strategies that align with our broader organizational goals. This role will oversee key areas such as operational HR processes, structural planning, compensation and benefits programs, talent recruitment and retention efforts, performance evaluation systems, employee engagement initiatives, leadership succession, and professional growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner, collaborating closely with leadership to shape and achieve business objectives. This role requires a forward-thinking professional capable of refining existing systems and introducing innovative approaches.
This is an onsite position that requires availability for regular travel.
Key duties include:
- Sourcing and retaining top talent across multiple locations using a mix of internal resources and external partnerships.
- Guiding a team through goal-setting, performance oversight, professional development, and other people-management activities.
- Partnering with compliance and oversight teams to ensure alignment of policies and practices.
- Collaborating with cross-functional groups, including legal, finance, operations, and senior leadership, on high-impact projects.
- Establishing and tracking performance metrics to gauge success and inform decision-making.
- Overseeing the collection and analysis of workforce data to prioritize initiatives.
Qualifications & Compensation
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Over a decade of progressively responsible experience in HR.
- Extensive background (10 years) in leading teams.
- Managing daily HR operations, including recruitment and employee transitions.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex challenges through analytical thinking.
- Leading organizational change and project execution.
- Designing effective team structures and workforce plans.
- Building and implementing talent acquisition, development, and compensation frameworks.
