Key Responsibilities
Install assembly hardware options into copiers and printers based on customer requirements
Perform operational checks and quality assurance (QA) tests using a standardized checklist
Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment failures before staging and shipping
Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track jobs, hours, and productivity
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in a production shop environment
Ensure safety and quality standards are met for all units delivered to customers
Handle equipment with team lifting for items over 50 lbs.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of related work experience
Demonstrated mastery of all Associate, Shop Technician competencies.
Basic technical knowledge (mechanical, electronics, and basic computer skills).
Employees may be required to work overtime - working outside the normal working hours when the need arises.
Demonstrated good work habits and observation of all safety rules.
Represents the company in a professional manner at all times including personal customer contact, written communication, or conversations.
Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Ability to follow through with work directives and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and follow written instructions.
Strong verbal communications skills.
Ability to work on a team.
Typically, a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction prepare, provide and convey diversified information.
Working conditions regularly expose individuals to conditions that could result in minor cuts and burns.
There is frequent exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners.
Physical effort is required in the lifting of tool cases, and assorted equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as the ability to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 700 pounds.
Frequent stooping, bending, squatting and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level.
May be required to work over time or outside the normal working hours when the need arises.
