A typical day as a Tax Manager / Senior Manager for the Tustin CA office might include the following :
- Work with staff to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and by the required deadline.
- Review approve and sign tax returns for release to clients.
- Coach or mentor a staff member to assist with enhancing their skills and further developing their career.
- Gather relevant taxrelated information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
- Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
- Network build relationships and attract new clients or business for the Firm.
- Bill clients for the services and guidance provided.

What are the 34 nonnegotiable requirements of this position Previous : Bachelors Degree in Accounting CPA or EA license Experience in Construction required would also consider Manufacturing experience.
New : Prior public accounting experience Bachelors Degree in Accounting CPA or EA license Experience with Construction clients required would also consider Manufacturing industry experience.
Reminder : Candidates need to have CPA or EA license and construction industry and public accounting tax experience. Will not consider candidates without these requirements. Highpriority position. We are looking for the right candidate. Tax CPA / EA construction client experience in public accounting. Very niche experience is needed. Still need solid candidates with management experience in public accounting and tax. Will be working 50% of the time with construction clients.
