What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Sterile Supply Supervisor - 1st Shift position at HR Recruiting Team?
The Central Sterile Supply Manager will assist and support the Central Supply Manager with planning and leading Central Supply to ensure efficient operations. Leads the activities of employees engaged in furnishing sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment for processing of human tissue.
The Central Supply Supervisor will:
Assists the Manager in the selection, training, orientation, evaluation, and competency of employees.
Coordinate the training and documentation for all new and existing Central Supply employees.
Ensure that personnel adhere to all safety guidelines, training and policies.
Provide direction to Senior Technicians, Team Leaders and Technicians.
Perform and assists in coaching staff as related to performance.
Ensure proper record documentation.
Communicate training issues to applicable personnel to provide continuity and consistency of training and optimal learning.
Provide management oversight for the preparation of solutions, arrangement of stock, requisitioning, issuing, controlling, and charging of supplies and equipment.
Manage productivity and activities of employees engaged in sterilizing, assembling, and packing of processing supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Previous Supply Chain, Central Supply, Hospital OR and/or Continuous Improvement experience.
