Central Sterile Supply Supervisor - 3rd Shift

The Central Sterile Supply Supervisor: Assists the Manager in the selection, training, orientation, evaluation, and competency of employees. Coordinates the training and documentation for all new and existing Central Supply employees. Ensures that personnel adhere to all safety guidelines, training and policies. Provides direction to Senior Technicians, Team Leaders and Technicians. Performs and assists in coaching staff as related to performance. Ensures proper record documentation. Communicates training issues to applicable personnel to provide continuity and consistency of training and optimal learning. Provides management oversight for the preparation of solutions, arrangement of stock, requisitioning, issuing, controlling, and charging of supplies and equipment. Manages productivity and activities of employees engaged in sterilizing, assembling, and packing of processing supplies. Opportunities to join various employee committees Minimum Requirements:. Must be guided by the highest level of integrity and people-centered care. High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous Supply Chain, Central Supply, Hospital OR and/or Continuous Improvement experience. Work Environment/Physical Activities:  Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation. Requires heavy lifting, moderate levels of standing and is physically demanding. Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.  Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.
