What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Supply Tech - Third Shift position at HR Recruiting Team?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Complies with standard work practices throughout all Central Supply operations.
Attains daily processing goals relating to productivity and quality.
Assists in orientation and training of new employees as assigned.
Participates in continuous improvement process/kaizen, and problem-solving activities.
Supports storeroom material flow and required kit building.
Performs as a Processing Support Technician (PST) in room opening, support, and room cleanup.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Technician I
High School diploma or equivalent.
Technician II
Requirements of Technician I
Must be a Central Supply Technician I for a minimum of eight months.
Meets acceptable attendance standards.
Must be signed off on all Central Supply Technician training modules.
Must have a rejection ratio of 0.20% or below for the past 6 months (when SPM is utilized) or a load card error rate of < 3 over 6 month period (when SPM is not utilized).
Technician III
Must be a Central Supply Technician II for minimum of 4 months.
CRCST Certification.
Maintaining annual CEU’s for CRCST certification.
WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.

Receive and follow directions.
Report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a sterile central supply and delivery environment, tissue bank, or manufacturing environment.
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
