Maintenance Mechanic
Position Summary:
HR Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our growing manufacturing client in the Evansville, IN area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on packaging equipment, machinery, and production systems to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with production equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues or wear and proactively address them.
- Work with engineering and production teams to improve machine efficiency and resolve equipment-related production issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and part inventories.
- Participate in equipment upgrades and capital improvement projects as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- Some secondary education with related coursework or equivalent experience required
- Must be mechanically inclined and have knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
Compensation:
- Up to $80,000 / year depending on experience
- Excellent benefits offered
