Our Client's corporate practice offers a blend of comprehensive legal expertise and practical business counseling that enables our clients to clarify goals, find solutions and achieve results across varied business transactions. Our corporate attorneys advise clients on a wide variety of issues affecting commercial, financial and industrial enterprises, both publicly and privately owned.
Responsibilities
Our Client is looking for an associate to join our corporate practice in San Francisco. Our San Francisco office is one of the fastest growing offices in the firm and in the Bay Area. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and business-minded attorney who is interested in helping us grow the brand and the presence with our clients in the Bay Area.
Candidates should have 2 years of transactional experience with the ability to quickly integrate and support the firms mergers and acquisitions, securities and venture capital practices. Experience working on private equity transactions is preferred.
Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at the firm. Therefore, the firm encourages working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm's published guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Must be admitted or eligible for admission in California
- Must have 2 years of M&A, securities, venture capital and / or private equity experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Professionalism in working and engaging with clients and colleagues
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilities
- Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings
