Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipping and receiving operations in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards. This includes coordinating shipments, verifying incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities

Skills/Experience/Behavior
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus. Proven experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management system requirements. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Coordinate outbound shipments: Prepare shipping documents, including packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels. Arrange transportation carriers and schedule shipments. Ensure proper packaging and labeling of products to meet quality and safety requirements. Coordinate with internal departments to meet order fulfillment deadlines.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials: Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders and packing lists. Inspect materials for damage, quantity, and quality compliance. Record and report any discrepancies or non-conforming items. Update inventory systems to reflect accurate stock levels.
- Manage inventory: Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to reconcile discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders as needed. Ensure proper storage and organization of materials and finished goods.
- Quality and compliance: Adhere to ISO 9001 quality standards and procedures. Participate in quality audits and assist in maintaining compliance with quality management system requirements. Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformities.
- Communication and coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including production, procurement, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery. Communicate shipping updates and tracking information to customers and internal stakeholders. Resolve any shipping-related issues or customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Safety and compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment. Follow all relevant regulations and guidelines related to shipping, handling, and storage of materials.
