Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, have experience in route driving, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Duties

• Operate vehicles such as vans, box trucks, or other delivery vehicles to transport goods.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care of all materials.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a similar driving role is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate various types of vehicles including vans and box trucks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple routes efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
• Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is an advantage.
• A background in moving or warehouse operations is a plus.
