LCS (Lakeside Curative Services, LLC.), is looking for a Direct Care Worker to work in their Connect program providing individualized attention to encourage participants’ ability to be involved in the community by volunteering or community employment. This is a part-time or full-time position, with benefits and requires someone with patience, organizational skills, and the ability to serve as a role model to all individuals associated with LCS. Job Function :
The Direct Care Worker position involves several responsibilities including building the confidence of participants by introducing them to networking opportunities with area businesses to develop meaningful experiences and volunteer opportunities.
You will be able to use your creativity to develop LCS Connect options for participants that focus on community-based learning and involvement in the community.
Basic requirements :
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Any experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.
- CNA or CBRF Certification is preferred.
On average a Direct Care Worker earns upward of $32,000.00 per year. There are additional benefits that make this position more rewarding including :
