What it takes to succeed :

Some basic duties include :
- Drill micro diameter vacuum holes in thermoform tooling.
- Polish aluminum mold tooling to industry standards.
- Set up, adjust, and operate manual thermoforming machines & manual trim presses to form and trim-cut plastic prototype samples to customer’s specifications.
- Assist tool room personnel with assembling and disassembling production tooling as needed.
- Complete and submit to the supervisor all required documents, forms, and other required paperwork.
- Mechanical ability to setup, adjust, and operate manual thermoforming machines, manual trim press, and hand trim sample parts using scissors.
- Able to safely operate a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools including drill press, bandsaw, manual milling machine, and other machinery required to perform work tasks.
- Possess mechanical aptitude for identifying hardware sizes including bolt sizes and thread sizes.
