What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote HR Consultant position at HR Works?
Our HR Consulting Division is seeking experienced HR Consultants (Full-time) to deliver exceptional service to our client located in California. This is a full-time, remote position and requires the Consultant to work the hours of 9am-6pm EST. POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, the HR Consultant plans and carries out policies relating to all phases of human resources activity for our clients by utilizing expertise in a variety of areas, including:
- Payroll Administration (semi-monthly)
- Onboarding
- Leave Administration
- Data Tracking and Record-Keeping
- Benefits and Leave Administration
- Regulatory Compliance and Safety
- Recruiting and Onboarding
- Employee Relations
- Professional Development and Coaching
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- At least five (5) years progressive HR Generalist or HR Manager experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field is required.
- Experience with California law is strongly preferred. Experience with Texas and Arizona law is also preferred.
- 3 years of running Payroll for a midsize (200 ) organization is required.
- Experience working in a remote environment is required.
- The ability to work 9am-6pm is required.
- PHR/SHRM-CP Certification or other related certifications desired (i.e. CEBS, CCP)
- Be physically located in the area of Rochester, Syracuse, or Buffalo, NY.
