Audit Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Manager to join our team. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing audits across multiple industries, including construction, non-profit, and energy sectors. You will oversee audit engagements, manage teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships. This is a leadership position that requires excellent organizational skills, a deep understanding of audit processes, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audits for clients in the construction, non-profit, and energy sectors, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple audit engagements simultaneously while managing project timelines and budgets.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of audit professionals, providing guidance on complex audit matters and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure high-quality audits by reviewing work papers, financial statements, and audit reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Communicate directly with clients, addressing their needs and concerns, and providing insightful recommendations for improvements.
• Coordinate with partners and senior leadership to ensure that engagements are aligned with firm goals and client expectations.
• Assist in the development of new business opportunities and support client relationship management efforts.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of public accounting experience, with several years spent in a managerial role.
• Extensive experience in auditing for clients in the construction, non-profit, and energy sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining attention to detail and supporting team members’ needs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships and effectively manage audit teams.
• In-depth knowledge of audit methodologies, procedures, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing client and firm needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,833.15 - $99,347.45 per year
