The SAP Systems Analyst will coordinate SAP requirements across departments and provide ongoing support for SAP activities. This role involves collaborating with both internal and external organizational units (including international teams) to develop, train, and improve business processes and standards, aiming to increase overall departmental and plant efficiency. The analyst will also support day-to-day operations within SAP business processes in modules such as Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, and Material Management, among others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day business operations related to SAP processes in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, and Material Management modules or similar.
- Assist with the connection and operation of third-party applications integrated with SAP via an interface.
- Analyze and optimize business processes based on the needs of various departments (e.g., Procurement, Operations, Production).
- Provide guidance and support for SAP master data management and workflows.
- Coordinate and support all interdepartmental SAP activities.
- Document activities in accordance with reporting requirements (Scope of Work) and IT service management.
- Implement and coordinate SAP-related training, including creating training materials.
- Manage SAP-related projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
- Participate in integration tests and/or coordinate integration testing in 4/HANA.
- Provide first and second-level support for SAP-related issues.
- Communicate with the central IT company in Germany, including potential travel to Europe or remote training sessions with the central IT team.
- Focus on increasing customer satisfaction by proactively avoiding disruptions in IT systems and ensuring operational continuity.
- Optimize the IT cost-benefit ratio for the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

- Understanding of SAP modules (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Material Management) and their interconnections within the organization is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively with directors, managers, and team members.
- Ability to learn and work with at least one or two SAP modules.
- Basic experience in analyzing and optimizing business processes, particularly in logistics or production.
- Project management experience with SAP implementations or enhancements.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of related experience working with SAP systems.
- Experience with data collection and analysis in an ERP context.
- Knowledge of how SAP/ERP systems relate to and impact business processes.
- Experience in system analysis and design.
