Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, related degrees in Construction Management, Economics, etc. also considered.
- Co-op education, internship, or work experience desirable
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing designs, drawings, and specifications for site development projects
- Assist in project management & administrative tasks related to ASM & Civil projects
- Work in a teaming environment on complex urban infrastructure projects
- Using a range of computer packages for developing detailed designs including:
- MS Office
- AutoCAD experience is preferred
- Resolving design and construction problems
- Reviewing site plan development plans
- Managing budgets and project resources
- Developing cost estimates and project schedules
- Ensuring projects run smoothly and are completed on time
- Participates in contract bidding and construction administration
- Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment as well as function independently
- Participate in field investigations
- Willing to learn new software
- Wants varied experience
- Adapts well to change
