What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graduate Engineer II / Project Analyst - Hydrologic and Hydraulic position at HRC?
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Passed FE
- 3 years of experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of drinking water and/or wastewater/ stormwater systems
- Valid Driver's License
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing designs, drawings, and specifications for infrastructure imporvement related projects
- Perform basic to high-complexity GIS analyses, hydraulic calculations, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, data analysis, and report writing.
- On-site evaluations and/or other fieldwork supporting water resources projects may be required.
- Competency with Microsoft Office products, ArcGIS software and specific hydrologic and hydraulic software programs (ex. WaterGems, EPA SWMM, HECRAS, HY8, TR55) is required.
- Understanding Safe Drinking Water Act, 10 states standards, Lead and Copper and similar in State and Federal Drinking Water and Wastewater regulations.
- The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, highly organized, and has outstanding writing and communications skills for client interactions, preparation and checking of final deliverables, and providing technical guidance and training to other mid-level and junior staff.
