Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with strong experience in IV Infusion therapy to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, be able to provide high-quality infusion services, and work well within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer IV infusions and injections to patients as per physician orders
- Monitor patients during and after infusions for adverse reactions or side effects
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress
- Prepare and maintain infusion equipment and supplies
- Provide education and instructions to patients about the infusion process and aftercare
- Assist in patient assessment and care planning
- Ensure all medical equipment is sterilized and operational
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
- Current LVN licensure in TEXAS
- Proven experience in IV infusion
- Strong clinical and technical skills
- Ability to assess and monitor patient reactions during treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered care approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
