What You’ll Do:
As the Sales Manager you will drive growth through effective customer relationships, process management and leadership of the sales team to ensure all sales goals are achieved.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
· Researches, plans, and executes on sales strategies to ensure both short and long-term goals are achieved.
· Plans and manages key accounts independently to ensure customer satisfaction and continual growth.
· Develops sales targets and creates influencing campaigns based on growth goals and equipment capacity to drive results.
· Leads, mentors, and manages the team to continually grow the skillsets of the group, while driving sales and customer satisfaction goals.
· Travels to customer/prospect sites to understand customer needs and sales opportunities to create plans to exceed their expectations.
· Develops systems that maintain relevant customer information and processes in accordance with ISO standards.
· Collaborates with Strategic Account Managers and CFO to develop pricing strategies.
Position Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree completed in Sales or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
· Experience: 5 years of Sales management experience in a manufacturing industry, working directly with small and very large accounts. 3 years of direct management experience, leading a sales team.
· Certifications: NA
· Functional Skills: Proven ability to research, plan, organize and prioritize activities to make an impact in Sales; strong analytical and higher-order reasoning abilities; proficient computer and math skills; ability to use creative talents and skills to successfully resolve problems; high ability to listen, problem-solve, and provide solutions over the phone and/or in person; develops solutions that work; works committedly with others to solve problems and resolve situations.
· Technology Skills: Advanced aptitude with computers, ERP systems, Microsoft, and other presentations systems.
· Communication Skills: Strong written & verbal communication skills, along with strong negotiation and presentation skills are required.
· Leadership/ Behaviors: Customer-focused, results-oriented, self-motivated, possessing a drive to compete and succeed; energetic, with the ability to listen, network, and influence individuals and teams; can build and maintain relationships with ease; strong leadership skills and ability to listen carefully to the input of others and gets clarification before generating conclusions; responds thoughtfully and non-defensively to questions.

Other Important Information:
Pay/Salary: Salaried role based on proven expertise.

Reports To: CEO
Core Hours: 7:45 am – 5:15 pm
Typical Work Week: M-F; occasional weekend work where required; 45 - 50 hours a week on average
Direct Reports: 5-10 Sales Employees
Travel: Limited 10%
Work Environment: Working in an office/ manufacturing environment
COVID Protocol: No Special Protocol; Individuals can wear masks if desired
