What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey CAD Technician II position at HRC?
HRC is currently seeking a Survey CAD Technician II to assist the Survey Team Leads in all phases
of drafting survey projects including sheet set up, importing field work, error recognition, and
fixing; as well as running field to finish on field work and completing final CAD drawings. This
position reports to the Survey Team Leader.
Responsibilities:
Organizing, planning, and managing CAD drawings of assigned field projects
Ability to use Carlson Survey Software and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Must have 3-5 years as a Survey CAD Technician experience or equivalent
Minimum 2 years progressive survey experience
Reviewing plans for legibility and correctness
Understanding budgets
Knowledge of engineering science, math, geography and technology
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as a part of a team to assist Survey Team Leads
High school graduate or equivalent
Ability to take initiative
Critical thinking and analytical skills
Basic computer skills and able to learn relevant job-related software
