We are seeking a dynamic and creative person to join our marketing team. In this role, you will use your talent to provide graphic design production and administrative support for the Marketing Department that includes delivering on the strategic sales and marketing plan for the Credit Union, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing. Marketing oversees community sponsorships and events to be coordinated. Interfaces enthusiastically with staff, management, board members, vendors and visitors to the Credit Union. Acts as brand ambassador among colleagues, the membership, and the community.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Creates and delivers effective digital marketing campaigns – including email marketing, social media advertising, and search engine optimization (SEO) - to drive member engagement and sales.
- Handles graphic design production of internally produced projects following HRCU graphic design and branding standards.
- Maintains, updates, and enhances the website using the content management system.
- Coordinates and participates in community sponsorships and events. Attends HRCU sponsored events to provide support and coordination and collect photo/video content for marketing purposes.
- Handles copy production, proofreading, creative revisions, pre-flighting, and submission of art files for production.
- Provides marketing assistance including tracking marketing projects and updating the production calendar to proactively manage deadlines.
- Proactively prepares social media content, member statement messages, press releases, newsletters, and similar marketing communications.
- Provides support to departments hosting and participating in events, along with our business partners.
- Responsible for receiving, storing, and maintaining supply levels of all marketing and promotional materials.
- Maintains up-to-date and current knowledge of digital marketing and graphic design strategies and trends.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of similar or related experience. Financial institution experience is a plus.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or graphic design or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent.
- Outstanding copywriting, graphic design, and social media skills
- Proficient in designing and delivering digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and multimedia (video, photography, and animation).
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Willingness to pivot and take on new initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
