HRD operates FAA repair stations that have been providing world-class service for forty years in the Aviation industry. HRD is the industry leader dedicated to the overhaul of aviation safety equipment, including aircraft fire extinguishers, oxygen systems and inflatables as well as outright PMA Part Sales that makes peoples lives safer. Job Summary: As an inside sales representative, you will be initially engaged in following up with quotations that you and your team has issued as well as quotations from other team members. Once there is thorough understanding of the HRD inside sales processes by product lines, this individual will respond to a specific product line.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Role: (other duties may be assigned) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Lead qualification: Assess potential customers to determine their needs and buying potential
- Relationship building: Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
- Customer interaction: Respond to incoming inquiries, answer questions, and provide product information to potential clients
- Generate and issue quotes to customers
- Order Acknowledgement using ERP systems and follow up with supplier as needed when missing
- Order Escalation/ Expediting
- Shipment tracking - Navigate vendor portals & provide tracking on parts purchases when applicable
- Issue quotes as requested from the Outside Sales Team
- Physical Verification - When applicable, coordinate with shop on special needs purchases such as placards and shop material prior to order placement. Physically review delivery discrepancies and report findings to purchasing manager for further instruction.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, Certifications for Sales Training a plus
5 years of previous inside sales experience in a regulated industry
Experience with SalesForce.com to triage, quote and track inquires
Proven ability to work independently and take initiative on tasks
Experience in Aircraft Safety equipment preferred but not required
Strong computer skills, knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft, Video Conference Platforms, CRM
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, highly organized, strong time management skills
Strong mathematical skills ensuring calculations are accurate and correct
Previous relationship management skills to support client relationships and contracts. Also needed for collaboration and working with multiple departments internally across multiple time zones in the US
Effective verbal and written communications skills are required to work with clients, and internal personnel
Schedule: Monday - Friday 40 Hour/Week
