Qualifications:
- 1 – 2 years of demonstrated experience in compensation preferred
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills required. Proficiency with HR and Compensation platforms such as ADP Vantage and PayFactors preferred
- Knowledge of local, state and federal employment and wage and hour laws as well as basic employee relations principles and practices.
- Strong ability to partner, consult and communicate with other HR team members, including the field HR Business Partners and management.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze information and data and present findings in a concise format.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills required in order to communicate and across all levels within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains, uses and participates in compensation surveys to understand market data
- Analyze data from compensation surveys to provide market recommendations and develop salary structures for the portfolio
- Interact with HR Business Partners at each hotel to provide market information and recommendations for adjustments
- Catalogue compensation practices at all hotels and update on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with hotels on specific issues relating to salaries, job classifications, job content and other compensation related matters.
- Maintain all compensation databases for accuracy and efficiency
- Assist properties in updating wages during Merit Review cycles.
- Keeps apprised of federal, state and local compensation laws and conducts regular audits to ensure company compliance.
- Contribute to compensation projects as assigned, including research, development and implementation of changes to compensation programs and policies.
- Performs any other job related duties as assigned.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
