POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Talent Acquisition plays a key role in supporting company growth by leading talent acquisition for our corporate employee population throughout the country. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment creating and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies rooted in inclusion and diversity in collaboration with business leaders. The director will be a strategic thought partner who leads a team and plays a role as an individual contributor in recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Works with recruiters to develop recruitment strategy, set priorities, and define quarterly and annual recruitment goals.
- Business partner to over 135 hiring managers and responsible for recruitment for over 1,000 corporate employees and filling 200 positions annually.
- Create and maintain relationships with 30 executives (AVP & above) collaborating regularly on their recruitment needs.
- Manage requisition approval process receiving all recruitment requests and initiating approval on requests. Collaborating with hiring manager on understanding their requests for adding and backfilling their position as well as helping with job description creation when needed.
- Interviewing all candidates in-person or via Teams for director level positions and above.
- Collaborate on salary grades for new positions and positions that need regrading and maintenance enhancements of ATS.
- Researches, identifies, and implements the most appropriate and cost effective/competitive recruiting tools.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
- Drives activities that enhance proactive sourcing efforts, increases the number of quality recruits through networking, competitive sourcing, etc.
- Leverages recruiting analytics to assess and improve current strategy to ensure a world-class practice; take a data driven approach to decision making that will support a culture of continuous improvement in processes and efficiencies.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10 years of recruitment experience
- 5 years of managing corporate recruiting for a company with over 1,000 employees
- Experience recruiting corporate and executive positions up to C-suite.
- Previous Healthcare experience, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of compliance of recruiting standards and practices for team members including but not limited to EEO, OFCCP, job postings, etc.
- Willingness to own decisions, operate with discipline and rigor with a competitive drive to be the best.
- Ability to operate as a subject matter expert on recruiting with a consultative style.
- Ability to execute plans – both strategy and project related.
- Ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple-concurrent projects.
