HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

As the Colleague Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and assisting the Executive Director/ Colleague Relations and Human Resources Services developing plans for, scheduling, and executing all activities and events for all Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) colleagues and retirees.
The Colleague Engagement Specialist is responsible for:
- Develops plans for, schedules, and executes all activities and events for Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) colleagues and retirees.
- Considers input from colleague committees and various focus groups when developing said activities and events.
- Coordinates administrative and labor needs for each event, including calendars, billing, and expenses.
- Maintains accurate data and reports on the status of events, including participation, evaluation, revenue, and expenses.
- Works closely with Human Resources (HR) management to ensure all activities and events requirements are met.
- Assists the Exec Dir/Colleague Rel/HR Svcs (supervisor) with assessing engagement, sharing results, developing action plans, other interventions, and following-up to assess progress.
- Assists with implementing the colleague engagement survey, survey planning, and other engagement initiatives, including stay and exit interviews.
- Assists with monitoring employee engagement goals and other key performance indicators (KPI).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Education:
- Required:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, social sciences, recreation management, or a closely related field.
HR may substitute relevant work experience for the minimum required education on a 1-year:1-year basis in addition to the minimum required experience below.
Experience:
- One (1) year of experience in leisure services, recreation, activity/event planning, organizational development, colleague engagement, or training/development.
Certification/License/Registry:
- Required: None.
- Preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential(s).
