Overview
We are looking for a strategic and proactive Senior Manager, Learning & Development (L&D) to lead employee experience initiatives, DEI initiatives and learning and development programs. This role will oversee employee training, EAG’s and mentorship programs
As a key leader within the People team, this individual will play a critical role in shaping employee growth, engagement, and retention strategies, making a direct impact on the professional development of our workforce.
Responsibilities
Learning & Development Strategy & Execution
- Design and implement employee skills assessments to identify training needs and growth opportunities.
- Develop and oversee the L&D strategy, ensuring training programs align with business needs.
- Manage and coordinate company-wide training programs, ensuring effective participation and measurable impact.
- Facilitate manager training sessions alongside HR leadership.
- Oversee compliance training, ensuring timely completion and regulatory adherence.
- Lead the mentorship program, ensuring successful mentor-mentee matches and program effectiveness.
DEI
- Drive initiatives that enhance the employee experience, fostering a culture of growth and inclusion.
- Oversee Allison University (AU), ensuring it delivers impactful and engaging learning experiences.
- Manage quarterly onboarding programs, ensuring new hires have a seamless and engaging transition.
- Develop and maintain an internal events calendar, driving participation and engagement in cultural initiatives.
- Support Employee Advocacy Group (EAG) initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze key L&D and HR metrics, using insights to improve programs and employee engagement.
- Ensure ongoing evaluation of training effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Develop quarterly reports on employee experience initiatives, highlighting impact and areas for growth.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR, or related roles.
- Proven ability to develop and manage L&D programs that drive employee growth.
- Strong experience with HR systems (UKG, iCIMS, or similar) and data management.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to execute multiple initiatives effectively.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Experience in employee engagement initiatives, culture-building, and retention strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities.

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $110k-$130k. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
