We are looking for a highly skilled Cryogenic Test Engineer to join our team at HRL Laboratories. In this role, you will design and develop cryogenic test systems that meet the stringent requirements of our advanced silicon quantum dot technologies. Your expertise in thermal and dynamic analyses, as well as your ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, will be critical to the success of this position.
Essential Duties:
- Design and develop cryogenic test systems that meet the specified requirements
- Conduct thermal and dynamic analyses to inform the design of test systems
- Lead and mentor junior engineers in the application of thermal simulation tools
A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related discipline is required. At least 8 years of professional experience in an analysis-based role or 6 years with a Master's degree is necessary.
