HRL Laboratories' Infrared Initiative is currently seeking a digital VLSI design engineer to develop and validate ROICs and their building blocks using sub-micron technologies.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Design and develop ROICs and their building blocks using sub-micron technologies.
- Conduct thorough testing and verification of designed circuits.
- Present technical details to colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.
- Develop and manage plans, and document technical aspects of your work.
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in digital VLSI design and development.
- Strong background in electrical engineering and integrated circuit design.
- Experience with digital design flow, Verilog RTL coding, RTL Synthesis, static timing analysis, timing closure with multiple clock domains, and digital verification.
- Hands-on laboratory validation skills and basic understanding of imaging sensors, memories, or similar array chip architectures.
