Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering lumber and building materials to customers and job sites in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate has a valid driver's license, a strong work ethic, and excellent driving and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Operations:
- Safely operate company vehicles (non-CDL) to transport lumber and building materials to designated locations.
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy and completeness prior to departing for deliveries.
- Ensure that all loads are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.

Customer Service:
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery sites, ensuring materials are delivered promptly and in good condition.
- Assist customers with unloading materials, providing support as needed to facilitate a smooth delivery process.
- Address any customer inquiries or concerns in a courteous and timely manner.

Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized, ensuring it remains in good working condition.
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.

Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies related to safety and transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations and any incidents or accidents that occur.
- Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols while driving and at delivery sites.
Qualifications:
- License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery driving or a related field is preferred, but not required.
