SIGNAGE COORDINATOR
Position Overview:
The Signage Coordinator is responsible for designing and producing signage, enhancing in-store merchandising, and supporting marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate has an eye for design, strong organizational skills, and a passion for creating an engaging retail experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Signage Creation & Management:
- Design, create, and maintain in-store signage, including price tags, promotional signs, and directional signage.
- Ensure all signage is clear, professional, and aligns with store branding.
- Regularly update signs to reflect current sales, promotions, and product information.
- Executes all centralized signage following all relevant timing and signage guidelines.
- Work with management to develop effective signage strategies for seasonal changes and special events.
Merchandising & Store Presentation:
- Assist in setting up and maintaining product displays to maximize visual appeal and sales.
- Ensure all merchandise areas are well-organized, properly labeled, and attractively arranged.
- Collaborate with department leads to optimize store layout and improve customer experience.
- Monitor and replenish marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and promotional displays.
Marketing Support:
- Assist with in-store and community marketing initiatives, including event promotions and social media content.
- Coordinates with centralized marketing on relevant print advertising.
- Create and distribute promotional materials for sales, new arrivals, and special events.
- Work with vendors to acquire marketing materials and signage support when needed.
- Support digital marketing efforts by providing in-store content for online promotions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in signage creation, merchandising, or marketing preferred.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with various store departments.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising best practices is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced retail setting with a combination of hands-on work and computer-based tasks.
- Frequent standing, lifting, and organizing of signage and displays.
- May require occasional work on ladders to install or adjust signage.
